Halloween is just around the corner, and NebraskaLand Bank is excited to announce its annual Trunk-or-Treat event. We are thrilled to invite our community members to join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and lots of candy. This event has become increasingly popular over the years, and we can’t wait to see the creativity that local businesses and organizations will bring to their decorated trunks. So, put on your best costume and come join us on Thursday, October 26, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in our Branch parking lot, located at 4615 2nd Avenue.

We are inviting the community to come and kick off the NEBRASKAland DAYS Celebration with a Rodeo Queens Meet and Greet, accompanied by a petting zoo, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at our Westfiled Branch, 1801 West A Street, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

One of the most important lessons we can teach our children is the value of money and the importance of saving it. Saving money not only helps us achieve our goals, but it also teaches us self-discipline, patience, and responsibility. Many adults wish they had learned these skills earlier in life. That's why it's so important to start the process early on and teach our children the value of saving from a young age.

The event offers free shredding services for personal documents such as bills, banking statements, credit card offers, and more.  Shredding services will be available to the public with a recommendation of one bag of items or up to five standard sized boxes per person.

NebraskaLand Bank is celebrating their 25th anniversary in a unique way by launching the Project [Blank] initiative!

You may be eligible for up to $7,500 in grant funds towards a home purchase. Grant funds provide for down payment and closing cost assistance to first-time homebuyers. The HSP program is provided to households as a forgivable grant with a five-year retention period.

Each year, our employees nominate various organizations in our community to be the recipients of monetary donations contributed solely by the Bank employees. The “My Fair Share” program allows employees to decide what percentage of their contribution will directly benefit each organization. The recipients of the 2022 My Fair Share Program are Rape & Domestic Abuse Program, North Platte Trails Network, North Platte Area Children’s Museum, PAWS-itive Partners, Todd Becker Foundation, Kearney Area Animal Shelter, S.A.F.E. Center, Red Desert Humane Society and Hospice of Sweetwater County.
