My Fair Share Program

My Fair Share Program

NLB employees can be found volunteering at a variety of events throughout the year; after all, we take great pride in our volunteerism.  Not only are the employees of NLB generous with their time, but they also give back to the community monetarily through the “My Fair Share Program”.

In 2004, the “My Fair Share” program was born from our culture and the commitment to do our part to make the communities we live in places that we can be proud of. This program gives employees the opportunity to nominate local organizations or non-profits to be the recipients of monetary donations contributed solely by the Bank employees. After the nomination process employees are able to decide how they want to donate.  They can choose to donate a percentage of their annual wages or salary, a set dollar amount per pay period or a onetime donation to one or multiple nominated organizations.

The recipients of the 2021 My Fair Share Program are North Platte Community Build Playground, Deborah’s Legacy, Rape & Domestic Abuse ProgramNorth Platte Trails NetworkKearney Area Animal Shelter, and Hospice of Sweetwater County.

In 2021, employees pledged over $19,000, and approximately $180,000.00 has been donated over the last 17 years across the communities we serve.

NebraskaLand Bank employees will present checks to these organizations at the “My Fair Share Breakfast” on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Bank lobby located at 1400 South Dewey and on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Kearney Branch lobby located at 4615 2nd Avenue.  The Bank employees will host the organizations in celebration of the success and accomplishments that these vital agencies provides to our community.
