From NLB’s humble beginnings with three dedicated employees and a group of local shareholders, we have grown to six locations, in North Platte, Kearney, and Rock Springs WY. We boast just over 100 employees, 10 board members, and approximately 120 shareholders.  Not only have we worked to maintain our mission we have also built a company culture that has been vital to our success. NLB’s culture defines who we are, what we believe in, and what we work hard to accomplish. Our culture is evident in the way that we interact with each other and within our community. NLB genuinely cares about our employees, and works to facilitate an environment to help them realize their goals, dreams, and support their passions.

There are a lot of perks to working for NLB, such as a fully stocked break room with free fruit, veggies, and coffee, “No Pay” Thursdays with beer on tap, an amazing volunteer program, activities, and much more. While perks are nice, it’s not why we’re the best. We have the best people and leaders who believe in our culture. For the second year in a row we have been listed as one of the Best Banks to Work For in 2020. American Banker and Best Companies Group recognizes and honors banks in the U.S. for outstanding employee satisfaction.

Enjoy a holiday craft this Fall season. This simple felt owl pattern is a fun activity for every member of the family. If you would like to avoid sewing and stitching, you can omit the cotton craft stuffing step and use fabric glue instead!

It’s that time again for NLB’s annual “Race to a Million”.  For the next 90 days NLB teams of three will be lacing up their walking shoes and putting their best feet forward and race to be the first team to reach one million steps.  The first team to reach a million steps will win bragging rights, and a total of $750 for the team to donate to the nonprofit of their choice.  That $250 for each team member! 

The last 6 months of 2019 were busy! We were busy not only with our dedication to our customers and our community but also growing our team with some new faces.   We are excited to introduce you to the newest members of the NLB team.
